Honest Burgers Bristol stands out as a must-visit burger joint in the heart of the city. With rave reviews highlighting its vibrant atmosphere and top-tier service, this restaurant excels in delivering an exceptional dining experience. Many customers have praised the restaurant’s signature chopped meat burgers, noting the unique flavor profile achieved through their innovative cooking techniques, such as the "smashed" style, where patties are pressed on the grill for a perfect crust. Diners have particularly enjoyed the Tribute and Crazy Bristol burgers, both of which offer bold flavors and high-quality ingredients sourced locally. Not to be overlooked, the buffalo wings and rosemary salted chips received accolades for their delightful taste and crispy texture. As one reviewer mentioned, the buffalo wings were perfectly cooked and full of flavor, making them a must-try. The passionate staff, including mentions of friendly faces like Lola and Dylan, enhance the overall experience, as they are attentive without being intrusive. Coupled with a pleasant ambiance filled with upbeat soul music, Honest Burgers creates an inviting spot for casual gatherings or special occasions. With options for vegans and vegetarians alongside the meat-rich menu, there’s something for everyone here. Honest Burgers Bristol is not just about great food; it's a celebration of flavors and vibrant community dining.

Have been to a few of the Honest Burger resturants across the UK but Bristol is by far the best. Atmosphere was great, food was amazing, tasty, cooked to perfection and plenty of it. This was my adult sons first time at Honest and we will both be back soon. Staff were amazing, Lola and Dylan thank you

Location top, centre. Don’t take bookings. Found a table for 4 on a Saturday evening. Service quick and helpful and attentive - never felt abandoned, staff always checking in to see if we needed anything (napkins, drinks, etc.) The burgers are brilliant, chopped meat NOT minced - yes it does make a difference - and had never tried a smashed burger before. The buffalo wings are very good BTW. Salad too. The rosemary chips are excellent. A short menu but excellent with loads of stuff sourced locally. The calorie count is provided for most dishes. Music - soul but upbeat and not too loud to interfer with conversation. The aeration system works well and clothes and hair were fine!

I had been wanting to try this place for a while. I had seen their locations everywhere, but for one reason or another, I never went in. I’m so glad I finally did because it was absolutely worth it! The restaurant offers a great balance between price and quality. I tried two burgers, and both were fantastic. The fries, served with rosemary as a side, were delicious. I went for the Tribute burger, which was excellent, and the crazy Bristol burger, which I highly recommend as well. The drinks come in cans but are served in crystal-clear glasses with ice, which is a nice touch. I also tried the chicken wings—they were perfectly cooked, incredibly flavorful, and definitely worth ordering. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely be coming back!

9 of us ate here. Everyone loved it. They're happy to amend the ingredients - I had the Bristol with onions removed and hot sauce added (the hot sauce was banging). Cocktails were pretty good too. Nice staff. The burgers were medium rare with a good maillard on it, but if that's not a thing for you just grab a smash patty instead.

I didn’t mean to eat at Honest Burger. I rarely mean to do anything in Bristol, really — I sort of just wash up here now and then like a wayward trawler, full of vague plans and fishy regrets. But as burger lunches go, the best ones are almost always an accident, born not of intent but of hunger, happenstance, and the simple lure of something fried and handheld. So it was last Wednesday. My mate and I, drifting through Corn Street like bored Dickensian flaneurs, spotted the 8.95 burger and chips offer chalked on the board like a siren’s call to the meat-hungry and time-poor. And bugger me, it was good. Actually, no — it was very good. Now, I’ve had burgers in Bristol before. And they’ve mostly been beige things — forgettable, joyless rounds of meat, half-heartedly flopped into a bun and grinning at you with limp lettuce and shame. But this one? This was different. A proper smashburger, all glorious Maillard crunch and fat-slicked edges, juicy but not greasy, rich but not cloying. The kind of burger that tastes like it remembers being a cow. And liked it. Fries were the quiet star — rosemary salt, crispy edges, none of that flaccid chip shop sulkiness you get elsewhere. They came out golden and proud, as if they’d been triple-fried by angels with degrees from Le Cordon Bleu and a weed habit. The room buzzed with the sort of midweek energy you only get when people are pretending not to be hungover at lunch. Service quick, the room full, the whole vibe brisk and cheerful — no one lingering, no one trying to pretend this is more than it is. Which is, frankly, what every great burger place should be. So yes, well done Honest. You’ve managed that rarest of things — a burger that tastes like someone gave a damn. I shall be back. Possibly even on purpose next time.
